Artisan Fishing Guides for Alliance and Horde

Requirements To Begin Artisan Fishing Quest:

You must be at least level 40 and have your expert fishing skill maxed out at 225 in order to recieve this quest. Be sure to have plenty of silver for all of the traveling you'll be doing.

NOTE: There is a known bug that will keep you from skilling up after receiving Artisan Fishing if you leave the area. After finishing the Artisan Cooking quest, be sure to fish your skill up to 226 before leaving Nat Pagle.

Alliance Start:
Speak with Grimnur Stonebrand in Ironforge (The Forlorn Cavern)

Horde Start:
Speak with Lumak in Orgrimmar (Valley of Honor)

Both will tell you to speak to Nat Pagle, who is SW of the Alliance city of Theramore Isle. Nat Pagle is located at 58.59. For Horde, the closest city is Brakenwall Village. Nat Pagle is SE of Brakenwall Village.

Nat Pagle will ask you to catch these 4 fish:
Feralas Ahi is found in Feralas (Verdantis River).
Savage Coast Blue Sailfin is found in Stranglethorn Vale (The Savage Coast).
Sar'theris Striker is found in Desolace (Sar'theris Strand).
Misty Reed Mahi Mahi. is found in Swamp of Sorrows (Misty Reed Strand).

Step By Step Artisan Fishing Guide For Horde:

1. After speaking to Nat, run back to Brakenwall Village.
2. Flight to Thunderbluff.
3. Flight to Shadow Prey Village.
   Fish in the ocean in Sar'theris Strand south of Shadow Prey Village for the Sar'theris Striker. It took me about 30 casts to catch him!
4. Flight to Thunderbluff.
5. Flight to Camp Mojache.
   Run west down the road until you reach a bridge running over Verdantis River. The bridge area is safe to fish. Got the Feralas Ahi on the first cast!
6. Flight to Thunderbluff.
7. Flight to Orgrimmar.
8. Sail Ship to Grom'Gol.
   Run south down the coast until you reach The Savage Coast. I got the Savage Coast Blue Sailfin on my 13th cast!
9. Flight to Stonard.
   Run east until you reach the ocean waters of the Misty Reed Strand. I got the Misty Reed Mahi Mahi on the 22nd cast at 90.73.
10. Time to head Back to Nat Pagle!
11. Flight to Grom'Gol
12. Sail Ship to Ogrimmar
13. Flight to Brakenwall Village
14. Run SE to 58.59.

Step By Step Artisan Fishing Guide For Alliance:

1. After speaking to Nat, run back to Theramore Isle.
2. Flight to Nijel's Point. Follow the road South then West until you reach the ocean waters of Sar'theris Strand. It took me about 30 casts to catch him!
3. Flight to Theramore Isle.
4. Flight to Thalanaar.
5. Flight to Feathermoon Stonghold.
6. Take ship accros the water.
7. Run along the road heading east until you reach a bridge that runs over Verdantis River. The bridge area is safe to fish. Got the Feralas Ahi on the first cast!
8. Flight to Auberdine.
9. Ship to Wetlands, Menthil Harbor.
10. Flight to Ironforge.
11. Flight to Stormwind.
12. Flight to Booty Bay.
    Run north-west along the coast until you reach The Savage Coast. I got the Savage Coast Blue Sailfin on my 13th cast!
13. Flight to Darkshire.
14. Flight to Nethergarde Keep.
    Run west then north into the Swamp of Sorrows. Then run east until you reach the ocean waters of the Misty Reed Strand. I got the Misty Reed Mahi Mahi on the 22nd cast at 90.73.
15. Time to head Back to Nat Pagle!
16. Flight to Stormwind.
17. Flight to Ironforge.
18. Flight to Menthil Harbor
19. Sail to Theramore Isle
20. Swim south-west to 58.59.
